HEAVY DUTY PRESSURE BLAST CABINETS
Heavy duty pressure blast cabinets are designed and developed for high production blasting and are extensively used in many industries such as automotive rebuilders, ship yards, machine shops, foundries, plating and coating, aircraft maintenance and manufacturing, glass ships and U.S. government facilities.
The pressure blasting method is three times faster and efficient than suction type blasting, consumes less compressed air and delivers more abrasive at a given blast pressure.
The pressure blast systems are designed not only to blast at high speed but also give the control necessary to clean at ultra gentle pressure such as 10 psi to 20psi while blasting delicate parts. In pressure blasting, blast media is pressurized in an A.S.M.E. coded pressure vessel with pop-up valve to provide automatic media recharging. One hose carries both air and abrasive.
Pressure blast machines require less maintenance over conventional suction blasting because there is no air jet or gun body to wear out. Abrasive breakdown per unit cleaned is less due to the lower blast pressure, though more media is discharged.
